As the reports are coming in from ANI the commanding officer of the Chinese unit involved in the aggression on LAC has fallen. Last night the Indian Army made official that 17 Indian soldiers in addition to the 1 officer and 2 soldiers made the supreme sacrifice.
It is being reported that the Chinese side has lost 43 men in their late-night aggression that took off Monday night. Since the government-controlled Chinese media is not allowed to reveal the details of casualties they are not officially putting any count. However, the ground sources have revealed that the casualties on Chinese sides are high.
A Chinese helicopter was also seen near the LAC which is estimated to have come for ferrying the body of the dead soldiers. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi after a series of discussions yesterday has called an all-party meeting.
As per a tweet from PMO, an all-party meeting is called by PM at 5 PM on 19th June. Presidents of various political parties would take part in this virtual meeting. The tweet clearly says that the meeting would be on the India-China border area situation. A definite call is expected to be taken against the dragon’s aggression after the meeting.
