Fresh limits and restrictions are imposed in Indore just ahead of Holi in order to tackle and deal with the pandemic situation within the city. However, the new instructions include closing restaurants, cutting down market hours, Sunday lockdown, religious places, and no public gatherings because of MP Covid Flow.
On Thursday, the Crisis Management Committee announced that the markets in the city will remain closed till 9 pm instead of 10 pm. All the religious places remain close till further announcement. In addition to these, people can’t sit in restaurants, but the takeaways allowed for the people. If we talk about marriage and funeral, only 50 people can attend a marriage ceremony and 20 people for a funeral.

The Indore city will be incomplete lockdown on Sundays and Holi as well. Cabinet Minister Tulsi Silawat considered striking a two-day lockdown in the city. As per the officials, it also discussed whether these two days lockdown needs to impose during the Holi festival in the city.
Sunday lockdown is imposed in Bhopal, Indore, Betul, Jabalpur, Ratlam, Chhindwara, and Khargone. Due to MP covid flow, lockdown is in action from 10 pm onwards on Saturday and ends at 6 am on Monday.
However, Indore has registered 612 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. According to the Union Health Ministry, Madhya Pradesh registered 1,712 new COVID-19 cases within a day.
