On Sunday, the Senior Congress Leader and Maharashtra minister Ashok Chavan praised Nagpur MP and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. He said that he is the right man but in the wrong party. He additionally added to his words that Nitin Gadkari’s powers, as a minister, are being continuously curtailed.
When asked Ashok Chavan, whether he had any favorite minister in the central government, he said “good words” could be spoken about Nitin Gadkari. He is the right man in the wrong party. He has a positive approach towards Maharashtra but his powers are being curtailed by the central government.

Apart from this, Ashok Chavan attacked the central government for several issues, including job loss, and failure to handle the Covid-19 pandemic. He claimed, The price of petrol had reached Rs 100 per liter. Some 12.21 core people have lost their jobs. The per capita income of Bangladesh is now higher than that of India. The policies of the Centre have devastated the country.”
Additionally, he attacked the Bharatiya Janta Party for the Maratha quota issue asking that the ruling party at the center propose a solution after the Supreme Court.
