A survey conducted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has shown that the consumer confidence in the country is at its lowest since Narendra Modi first became the Prime Minister of India.
Consumer confidence in India dropped to its lowest since 2014 according to the #RBI’s consumer confidence survey. The central bank’s survey was conducted in 13 big cities and 5,334 households.

Recently the official data that was released for the July-September, 2019 quarter showed that the GDP dipped to a six-year low to 4.5%. Now, this latest survey from RBI shows that the current situation index fell to 85.7 in November from 89.4 in September.

The slowdown in the Indian economy is a fact that has not been hidden from the public however, the government has not accepted the fact openly and have said that the economy of the country is stable amidst the global slowdown.
