As we know, India has recorded over 4 lakh daily cases in India. Imposing lockdown in different states of India has helped the country in reducing covid-19 cases. However, India has registered 1,32,364 new cases and 2,713 deaths in the past 24 hours as per the Union Health Ministry.
The top five states in India with maximum Covid cases are Tamil Nadu with 24,405 cases, Kerala with 18,853 cases, Karnataka with 18,324 cases, Maharashtra with 15,229 cases, and Andhra Pradesh with 11,421 cases. Apart from this, Maharashtra records the maximum daily fatalities with 643 deaths.

The US Health Advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci says that the United States of America is eager to rope in Indian investigators and experts to conduct efficacy of Covid-19 therapeutics and clinical trials on safety. Meanwhile, the US also announced its plans to distribute vaccines across the world out of which 25 million doses will be distributed immediately.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to US Vice President Kamala Harris on the move. He also thanked the United States. As curfew-like restrictions and lockdown continue to be in place in most cities of India.
