The Uttarakhand government has released a fresh SOP for Char Dham Yatra. Devotees planning to head Uttarakhand for the Char Dham Yatra will now need to be fully vaccinated or get a negative Covid-19 report. The report should not be older than 72 hours. Additionally, e-pass and registration will be mandatory for ‘darshan’ in the “Char Dham”. Pilgrims arriving from Maharashtra, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh, are required to provide a negative Covid-19 report even if they are full vaccinated.
Meanwhile, in Karnataka, over 75 per cent of the state’s adult population has been vaccinated against Covid-19 so far said State Health Minister K Sudhakar. He also added to his statement that “We hope to reach 5 crore vaccinations today. Bengaluru is the second district in India to vaccinate all eligible population.”

On Thursday, more than one crore people have been vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus in India in one day for the fourth time in less than a month, said the health ministry.
