Counting of votes is underway at various counting station in the state of Maharashtra and Haryana. The early rounds of counting is hinting towards the return of the sitting government in both the states.
As per the latest inputs BJP and Shiv Sena led coalition is seen taking it past the 145 mark in Maharashtra assembly with the estimated seat count of 160 plus. Shiv Sena is leading on 60 odd seats while BJP has got an early lead in over 100 seats.
In Haryana, Congress is seen making some gains in the early rounds of counting while BJP is not getting past the majority mark of 46 to form the government. BJP is leading at around 41 seats in Haryana with Congress catching up 27.

Results of both the assembly election would get a clearer picture post afternoon when multiple rounds of counting might have taken place. Elections to both the state assemblies were held on October 21st in a single phase.
