The Covid-19 vaccination drive gained momentum in Mulayam Singh Yadav villagers. As we know, he belongs to the Saifai block of the Etawah district in Uttar Pradesh. He had got himself vaccinated on Monday at a private hospital in Lucknow.
The Bhartiya Janta Party Uttar Pradesh unit said Singh’s move was a “good message”. They also said SP workers and its president should take inspiration from him.

However, 147,138 people have vaccinated in Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah as of now, with over 7,000 in the Saifai block. At a government primary school camp located in the Geenja village of Saifai block, people came out in large numbers to get themselves vaccinated. Shivkranti (61) said that earlier she was hesitant towards taking the vaccine, but after seeing the efficiency of the vaccine, she changed her mind.
Locals standing near the camp in Barauli Kalan village said “When Netaji [Mulayam Singh Yadav] has taken the vaccine, then why can’t we?”
