As the air quality once again dips in the national capital Chief Minister (CM) Arvind Kejriwal has said that ongoing odd-even scheme may be extended. The Delhi CM said on Wednesday that if the need arise then his government would not hesitate to extend the duration of odd-even scheme.

Recently a Public Health Emergency was declared in the Delhi NCR region amidst the rise in pollution level post-Diwali. The German Chancellor Angela Merkel who was in the capital at that time also expressed her concern about Delhi’s air quality.

CM Kejriwal blamed his counterparts in Haryana and Punjab for failing to curb the stubble burning in there state.
