Sucking inspiration from Italy balcony concerts, a family in Delhi has taken on itself to keep its neighborhood entertained amidst lockdown. The family of four in Delhi’s Rajaouri Garden has been performing ‘mini-concerts’ for their neighbours from their balcony.
Hitesh and Payal Madan along with their two sons, Ariv and Advay, have been entertaining their neighbours with their talent. It all started on Janta Curfew day and ever since is up and running.
Hitesh Madan told ANI, “It’s a tough time for the whole world… We experimented with this for the first time on Janta Curfew. We came into the balcony and perform this concert… we received positive and encouraging response from our neighbours so we performed again.”
The DJ family happens to be professionals and the husband recalls how he misses performing in front of huge crowd. “I will give a message to all people that please stay home, stay safe. I am missing to perform for a big audience but to motivate myself, I m doing this balcony concert. Today we did our third balcony concert.”
