Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has said that Delhi government might lift restrictions if cases of Covid come down in next three to four days.
Health minister has said that it is expected that state has reported nearly 25000 cases in last 24 hours. According to him positivity rate cannot determine whether Covid cases are at peak.
Delhi government said that state has highest positivity rate in last seven months of 25 percent.
In last few days it has been observed that cases are stabilized which is a sign that infections will decline very soon. He said that hospitalization rate in the state has stabilized and several beds are vacant in hospitals.
In Mumbai, cases have started declining and same trend will be seen in Delhi.

On Tuesday, Delhi government closed restaurants and bars for dine-in services and they are only allowed to open for home delivery services. All private offices have also been instructed to follow work from home protocols except for those who come under essential services. The night curfew in the capital is still imposed to control the spread of infection.
In past few days Delhi has reported Covid cases at an average of 20,000-22,000 per day.
On Tuesday, Delhi reported 23 deaths due to Covid.
Satyendar Jain said that people with comorbidities are facing major problems, and not many people have the need to be admitted to the hospital. Delhi Government will review the situation very soon.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said, “Covid cases are rapidly rising throughout the country. Delhi too is witnessing a rise but we have noticed that the speed of the spread of the virus has slowed down. I hope that this trend will continue and the Covid spread will come down.”
