While he asked for views from the public about the treatment of non-Delhites in Delhi hospital yesterday he came with an app. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched an app to provide real-time updates of the available hospital beds in the city. Not only this the app would also provide information about ventilators in the government and private hospitals.
The app named Delhi corona app is launched to bridge the information gap between the citizens and the hospitals. “There have been instances where people are complaining of a shortage of beds and medical facilities, so clearly there is a gap in information as even today around 4100 beds are still vacant“. said the CM launching the app.
The CM said that if the app shows an available bed and the hospital refuses then strict and quick action would be taken. ” If a hospital refuses to provide you bed even when our app shows beds are available in that hospital, then you can call on 1031. Our Special Secretary will take an action immediately and contact the hospital authorities to provide you bed on the spot” he said.
