In a piece of delighting news for Delhiites, the Capital, post-2019 Dussehra celebration, experienced the lowest air pollution since 2015. As per the data by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) the Air Quality Index in Delhi post-Dussehra stood at 173 compared to 292 in 2015 and as high as 326 in 2018.

However, IMD said that pollution may rise with the approaching festive season and change in wind patterns after October 12.
