Expressing her support to the encounter of 4 rapists who were accused of the rape and murder of 26 years old veterinary doctor from Hyderabad Rajyasabha MP Jaya Bachchan said, “Der aaye durust aaye (better late than never)”.

Jaya, while asked for a comment on the incident while she was walking outside parliament made the remarks. The former actress was in news recently when she said that such culprits should be “lynched publically”.

Her lynching remarks attracted criticism both inside and outside the parliament, with the social media taking her for some lesson.
