Earlier this month Delhi Transport Department also gave relaxation to school buses and cabs so that parents face no difficulty in sending their children to school. Government has decided to exempt the penalties due to delay in renewal of permit and fitness of all school buses and cabs.
The order will be applicable till April 30, 2022. This means that all the schools and operators will have two months time to get their permits renewed. The condition is valid only to cabs that are operated by individuals, operators and schools and buses that are owned by schools themselves.
