Popular actress Deepika Singh known for the portrayal of character Sandhya in TV serial Diya Aur Baati Hum has called Delhi government for help. Deepika’s mother who stays in Delhi has tested positive for the deadly COVID-19. The 59 years old mother of the actress has not been given a bed in the hospital.
Deepika shared this on her social media handle that Lady Hardinge hospital in Delhi didn’t even give her mother’s report to her father. Following this, she recorded a video appealing Delhi government and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for intervention and help.
She has called the Delhi government for help as her “last resort” after she tried to get in touch with several hospitals to get her mother admitted. Deepika’s mother lives in a joint family with around 44 family members. In her video, she has said that her Dad is also suspected and many people came in contact with her mother. So, far no response has been received from the Delhi government.
