Actress Kareena Kapoor has criticized the character of “Preeti” played by Kiara Advani in the her latest hit Kabir Singh. The movie has already received a mixed bag of response for its misogynistic approach however on the box office it did good business.
Talking about the movie in her latest interview Kareena said that she doesn’t believe in a character like Preeti. She added that she had not seen the movie yet but believes that a character like “Preeti” doesn’t garbs her faith as she is not the same as a person.
The actress who is seen as a promoter of women-centric films expressed pleasure on people raising their opinions against the movie. She said that those expressing dislikes were outnumbered by those who liked the movie.
Kareena would be soon seen sharing the screen space with Kiara in Raj Mehta’s “Good News”. The movie also stars Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh.
