Tremors of earthquake were felt in the Delhi-NCR region on Friday evening. As per latest inputs the India Meteorological Department (IMD) the tremors were a result of the earthquake that hit the Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 on the Richter scale has hit the mountainous region of Afghanistan as per IMD. The earthquake, that originated in Afghanistan, struck at 5:09 pm in the Delhi-NCR region. Tremors have also been felt in Lahore and Islamabad region of Pakistan.
The tremors were felt for nearly a minute in Delhi. So, far no updates about any loss of life or property due to the earthquake have surfaced. People have shared videos of swinging ceiling fans and chandeliers as a result of the quake.
