Thus, a solution to the problem can be these edible cups. A group of people running a tea kiosk on Mudurai’s West Masi Street have come up with the idea of selling tea in edible cups.
The customer can drink chai in the chocolate flavoured cups and once done, can munch the cup leaving nothing behind to worry about. This is RS Pathy Nilgiri tea kiosk that opened just a month ago in the city.
Each cup holds 60ml of tea and can survive for at least 10 minutes. Eating the cup is like eating 2-3 biscuits. Since opening on June 15, the shop has been selling a minimum of 500 cups a day.
