After pulling out his leg from the $44 billion Twitter deal, Elon Musk breaks his silence and replies in a hilarious style to Twitter’s lawsuit at the microblogging platform.
Elon Musk’s Reply To Twitter’s Lawsuit
CEO of Tesla Inc and SpaceX, Elon Musk’s reply was a shared meme from his official Twitter handle to Twitter’s lawsuit threat by which the company wants to force the merger agreement. According to Musk’s lawyers Twitter had failed to share the information asked regarding the number of fake or spam accounts on the platform upon multiple requests.
The pic of the Twitter meme shared by him displays three columns with three different sentences as messages.
The first sentence in the first column reads, “They said I couldn’t buy Twitter”, “Then, they wouldn’t disclose Bot information,” says the second one.
The third sentence was a reference to the lawsuit threat from Twitter, “Now, they want to force me to buy Twitter in court.”
Well, the data on fake or spam accounts on Twitter was one of the key demands of Musk since he made the multi-billion bid for the deal to take over Twitter.
A letter from him reads, “As further described below, Mr Musk is terminating the Merger Agreement because Twitter is in material breach of multiple provisions of that Agreement..”
Further said, “In short, Twitter has not provided information that Musk has requested for nearly two months notwithstanding his repeated, detailed clarifications intended to simplify Twitter’s identification, collection, and disclosure of the most relevant information sought in Musk’s original requests.”
