Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, is on a two-day visit to Gujarat ahead of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31. PM on his visit is to inaugurate a number of landmark projects to add to Gujarat’s capabilities to attract tourism, especially in the Narmada region where the Statue of Unity stands tall.
Arogya Van is one of the 17 projects that PM Modi is scheduled to inaugurate during his weekend visit to Gujarat.
Arogya Van, also called health forest, is a garden housing medical plants and herbs in the Kevadiya village in Gujarat. The van, as per the reports, is home to numerous plants that are important for human well being.
The van entertains over 380 species of plants that have been picked for complementing Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda.
Moreover, the Arogya Van also entertains head-turning delights like a lotus pond, alba garden, aroma garden, yoga and meditation garden, indoor plant section, digital information centre, souvenir shop and a cafeteria serving ayurveda foods.
Ekta Mall
Continuing his journey, PM Modi also inaugurated Ekta Mall structured near the Statue of Unity. The name, Ekta Mall, resembles Ekta Diwas, which is celebrated every year on October 31 on the birth anniversary of Patel.

Ekta mall is home to numerous handcrafted goods that would definitely add to the aesthetics of one’s home and make a perfect Diwali gift if you have been looking for one.
Sea Plane
Moreover, PM Modi, on Oct 31, will also inaugurate the first of its kind seaplane project in India. The seaplane project will connect the Sabarmati riverfront and the Statue of Unity.
The BJP administration had announced such seaplane services will be started not just in one but as many as 16 routes across India.
Children Nutrition Park
The next project to be inaugurated by PM Modi today was Children Nutrition Park in Kevadia.

Later today and tomorrow, PM will also take some time to inaugurate the Sardar Patel Zoological Park, popularly known as Jungle Safari, in Kevadia, Narmada district.
