Facebook Dating has now understood that the voice can bring a huge effect on a relationship. The social network has added a new feature on its “Dating” platform. Therefore, it will be possible to start conversations through voice. Also, the platform unveiled two new options, such as “match” and “Lucky Pick”.
The pandemic has driven many new dating apps offering video dating, video chatting, etc. Facebook Tech Communications manager Alexandru Voica revealed the new options that offer new amazing features. Alexandru Voica said via his Twitter account this week: “Facebook Dating has helped match people through things they have in common, like interests, events and groups. We’re excited to announce new ways to help people find that special someone with the release of three new features: Match Anywhere, Lucky Pick and Audio Dates.”
Users are now allowed to send an invitation to their “match” to start an “audio date” after validation. Initially, in July, Tinder also tested this option under the “Face to Face” feature. Apart from Tinder, the Bumble dating app already offers video calls and chats between mutual matches.

Moreover, calling your crush without exchanging phone numbers, Facebook Dating now allows you to activate the “Match Anywhere” option. This option helps you extending your dating radius to two other places in addition to your current location. The “Match anywhere” feature is quite similar to the feature offered by Tinder, which allows activating the international mode to match anywhere in the world.
Finally, the “Lucky Pick” option allows users to discover profiles that are different from their usual preferences so that they can broaden their search. In April, Facebook started a short four-minute video to encounter users.
