Adding to its long list of apps nurtured around trends, Facebook ha now quietly released a meme-making app called Whale. The app that is currently available only on Apple’s Candian app store, Whale allows a user to overlay texts on pictures (yours or from app stock) and caters everything else that you need to create a meme in one place.

The app has been developed by Facebook’s New Product Experimentation (NPE) team which earlier created a chat app called ‘Bump’ and listening app ‘Aux’. The team solely creates apps that target the young generation.
