Under Section 69 A of the Information Technology Act and IT Rules 2009, a total of 267 Chinese apps blocked in India including PUBG. PUBG stands for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. It is an online multiplayer game popularly known among mobile users. However, after the ban of PUBG and other Chinese apps, the Indian Government launched a similar mobile game under the name of “FAU-G”.
After the release, FAU-G mobile version has crossed 5 million downloads on Play Store in India. The game was launched on 26th January 2021. nCore Games developed India’s most awaited game. After the successful release of the Android version, FAU-G is now available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users.

iPad and iPhone users can now easily download the game from the App Store. After two months of the release of the Android version, it is available at Apple App Store. FAU-G mobile game was developed after the announcement of the PUBG Mobile ban in India.

The report says that the FAU-G game App Store privacy details collect contact info, usage data, diagnostics, identifiers, purchase details, and user content. However, Apple has not verified this information yet. This game is 643MB in Size and requires iOS 10.0 or the newest version for iPhone users and iPadOS 10.0 or later to download. Moreover, it supports iPod touch with iOS 10.0 or later. It is free to play on iOS as well but it comes with in-app purchases that lie between Rs. 89 to Rs. 3,599.
