Post Payal Ghosh harassment and rape allegation against filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, Mumbai police have summoned the latter for questioning. On Thursday, Anurag reached the Versova Police Station to narrate his side of the story in front of the place.
Accused of rape by Payal Ghosh, the producer-director has called the rape allegations “baseless” and said he intends to take legal action in the matter.

The summon comes days after Ghosh met the Maharashtra Governor BS Koshyari along with Rajya Sabha MP Ramdas Athawale to discuss what there was a delay in Anurag’s arrest.
Ghosh has also demanded Y+ security for herself and was also trolled for the same.

Payal Ghosh, for the unware, has recently, in a tweet, asked PM Modi to get Anurag Kashyap arrested for forcing himself on her in 2013. Ghosh also said that she had once told Mr. Kashyap that, “You have given a chance to Richa Chadha, Mahie Gill, Huma Qureshi… they are so nominal looking girls. Generally, directors don’t give them chance but you have done a great job. But I am not mentally prepared for this right now (sic).”
After the comment was made, Richa Chadha sent a legal notice to the actress. Meanwhile, Huma Qureshi has responded with a note in which she writes that the comments made her angry. She went on to add that Anurag Kashyap never behaved improperly with her.

Anurag’s ex-wives Kalki Koechlin and Aarti Bajaj have also come out in support of him.
