The Indian Union Ministry of Finance clarifies that the concerned department had successfully delivered the 3,000 oxygen. The Central Board of Indirect Tax and Customs (CBIC) disprove the claim that 3000 concentrators were on hold with it. The ministry officials said they have confirmed the status after confirming with field formations.
The finance ministry said “The matter regarding a consignment of 3,000 oxygen concentrators lying with customs authorities came up in the Hon’ble Delhi High Court. Also, the government counsel clarified that presently no such consignment is pending with customs authorities,” in its statement.
Moreover, in the statement, the body states that “However, social media flooded with the news that 3,000 oxygen consignment are lying with Customs. We again checked with our field formations and there is no such consignment lying with the Customs.
