A Rajsthan-returned MBBS student has been kept under isolation on the suspicion of being affected by the deadly Navel Coronavirus, which originates from China. The patient is currently kept at Jaipur’s Sawai Man Singh hospital.
The 19-year-old boy has returned to India 18 days ago with symptoms that hint a link with the virus. If that’s the case, then there are chances that he might have transmitted the virus into people he has been in contact with as coronavirus can physically transmit from one person to another.

“We are giving him symptomatic treatment as of now,” confirmed Dr Pushpendra Bairwa. As per the Dr Pushpendra Bairwa, head of the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) in SMS, who is observing the patient said, “The symptoms looked similar. We thought of not taking any chance so as soon as we got to know about him we admitted him in the isolation ward.”
