Mumbai on Wednesday was up in alert when 4 five-star hotels in the city received ‘bomb threat’. Hotel Leela, Hotel Princess, Hotel Park, and Hotel Ramada Inn received the threat mails. The sender of the threat mails claims to be a member of the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
Mumbai police came in action after the threat and started investigations in the matter. However, nothing suspicious was found. “After the police were told about the threat mails, security was beefed up at these hotels. The Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) checked the hotels, but nothing suspicious was found in them,” said the official.

Mumbai Police Deputy Commissioner Pranay Ashok said, “The anti-sabotage check of these hotels was conducted in the presence of the local police”. So, far nothing has been found which can hint an attack. Mumbai however, has faced a horrifying attack in face of 26/11 on the Taj hotel. Thus, the police was not in a mood to take anything lightly.
