Priya Bansal, wife of Flipkart Co-founder Sachin Bansal, has filed a dowry harassment case against the latter at the Bengaluru’s Koramangala police station. In the FIR, Priya mentioned that her father had spent over Rs 50 lakh for the wedding and had given Sachin Rs 11 lakh in cash. She further alleged that Sachin was putting pressure on her to transfer properties that were in her name.
As per a report by Times Now, names of Sachin Bansal’s father Satprakash Agarwal, mother Kiran Bansal and brother Nitin Bansal have also been mentioned on the FIR filed on 28 February. This comes months after his wife had said that their life had changed a lot following the Flipkart-Walmart deal.

“We see a lot more of him now. He is spending enough time with family. We go for walks in the park. Our parents are happy to visit us now as he gets to spend quality time with them, something amiss before,” she had told ETPanache in September 2018.
