Taking the idea from ‘Airlines’ the Indian Railways would soon start banning ‘unruly’ passengers. The step is to be taken considering the safety and convenience of the passengers on board.
” Looking at the growing trend of passengers going unruly during flight and risking the lives of other passengers, the railways is also mulling to ban such passengers for a few months”, said a senior railway official.
Passengers who have been barred to travel on airlines would also be on the no-travel list of Indian Railways. Railways would take the list of such passengers from the airlines. The names would be put on the system, so that those banned can’t book tickets for a few months. The ban in such cases would be for 6 months.
