Gasper Ulliel, one of the celebrated actor of French cinema died at 37 in a ski accident on Wednesday. He was starred in Moon Knight, upcoming series of Marvel.
He was two time Cesar winning actor. On Tuesday he was admitted to hospital after he met an accident while sking on slopes of Savoie region. He was suffering from a head injury and he could not recover from it. His agent released the news in media yesterday.
French Prime Minister Jean Castex paid his tribute on twitter. He tweeted, “Gaspard Ulliel grew up with cinema and cinema grew with him. They loved each other madly. It is with a heavy heart that we will no longer see his most breautiful interpretations. We have lost a French actor.”
Several people from the industry have poured their tributes on various social media platforms. Filmmaker Peter Webber, French Actor Xavier Dolan, Juliette Binoche, Jean Dujardin, Anthony Delon and others expressed their grief.

Ulliel will always be remembered for roles like Yves Saint Lauren in biopic ‘Saint Laurent’. He won three Cesars for ‘It’s Only the End of the World’.
French Culture Minister Roselyne Bachelot said, “Such a brilliant actor who was reaped by the sickle of death at the peak of his career. For almost 20 years, he was present in our lives with magnificent performances, winning his first Cesar for the best male newcomer with ‘A Very Long Engagement’.”
