As per the latest data released by the Indian Health Ministry, over 1.56 crore people have been vaccinated so far against the infectious virus. After vaccinating the ground zero workers, the Indian Government has now started the 2nd phase of Covid-19 vaccination. In this phase, senior citizens and people who are aged 45+ with comorbidities can now register themselves. A user guide can be found on the National Health Authority (NHA) and the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare regarding booking your appointment.
However, if you are too wanted to get vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus then you may complete the Covid 19 vaccine registration through CoWin. You may visit www.cowin.gov.in in order to register yourself or you can also do this through the Aarogya Setu app. On Google Playstore or Apple Store, you will not find the Cowin app as it is only available for administrators. NOTE: The registrations are active from March 1 and will be opened till 3 PM every day.

Step-By-Step Guide to Register for COVID-19 Vaccine Through Co-Win

How to register for COVID 19 by using Cowin?
Step 1: Open Co-Win or Aarogya Setu app.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Register Youself’ tab. Then, enter the mobile number and hit on the GET OTP tab. Once you receive the OTP, enter it in the given box and hit click on the verify button.
Step 3: The next step is to provide the details of the Photo ID that you will carry at the time of vaccination. The details will be as –
Step 4: Once you have filled in the above details and click on the register button. Now, your request for covid-19 registration will be saved.

Step-By-Step Guide to Register for COVID-19 Vaccine through Aarogya Setu
If you want to register through the Aarogya Setu App then the following steps will help you to do so.
Register yourself for COVID-19 through Aarogya Setu App
Step 1: Open the Aarogya Setu website or app.
Step 2: Find and click on the Cowin tab, then make a tap on the Vaccination tab and click on the Proceed button.
Step 3: After this, enter the mobile number and hit on the get OTP button. Once you get the One Time Password, enter it and hit on the verify button.
Step 4: Now, a registration page will be displayed on the screen and you are required to enter the details like photo ID type and full name as per the selected ID proof, gender, and date of birth.
Step 5: In case, if you are registering for a senior citizen, hit on the register button and registering for a person with comorbidities, you may hit the YES when it asks “Do you have any comorbidities (pre-existing medical conditions)”.
Note: People whose age is between 45 years to 60 years are required to carry a medical certificate at the time of appointment.
Step 6: Once you are done with Covid 19 vaccine registration, you will be now needed to provide account details. An individual is allowed to add a maximum of 4 people with one registered mobile number. To add people, you are simply required to click on the ‘Add button’ followed by the mandatory details.
Step 7: Now, you will be redirected to the “Book Appointment for Vaccination” page and asked to fill in details like District, Block, State/UT, and Pin Code. Then click on the search option to find lists of vaccination centres and hospitals.
Step 8: After the above steps, you will be given the vaccination centres list and you can choose one as per your convenience and then look for the available vaccination dates.
Step 9: A review page will be shown based on the details you have shared. Thus, review the details once again and click on the “Confirm” button.
Step 10: In the end, download and/or save the vaccination details.
Moreover, rescheduling your appointment can be made easily, just by logging in with the registered mobile number and click on the EDIT icon and reschedule as per your need.
