The protest against Deepika Padukone’s ‘Chhapaak’ seems to be not ending anytime soon. After the call for its boycott on social media, the right-wing outfits have taken to on-ground action to stop the screening of the movie.
After a Hindutva organization put up posters on hoardings in front of theatres, saying that those who try to screen the movie should get their “insurance” done no screening of the movie took place across Aligarh on Friday.
The posters also criticized Deepika’s visit to JNU by saying that she showed concern for only one side affected by violence at Jawaharlal Nehru University on January 5. The poster threatening the screening of movie has pictures of Akhand Bharat Hindu Sena members on it.
