The reports say that the global internet outage caused due to a glitch at US-based cloud service company Fastly. Earlier, the British newspaper Guardian said its app and website were affected by the wider internet outage.

Apart from Guardian, Amazon Inc’s also seemed to be down. Additionally, the UK’s main gov.UK website was also down, says The United Kingdom’s attorney general. The affected websites showed a “service unavailable” error message.
