The tasks, as per the app’s description, will be posted on the app by businesses from across the world. These tasks could range from clicking a picture of a restaurant around you, or doing a survey to translating sentences from English to other languages.
Once the task is completed, the user will be paid in local currency. The Task Mate testing was spotted by a Reddit user, as reported by 9to5Google. The app, currently available on the Play Store, can be used only by selected testers as of now.

The description of the app categorises tasks into Siting and Field tasks. It also highlights the three steps procedure to earn via the app – find tasks nearby, complete a task to begin earning, and cash out your earnings.
The aim of the app is likely not just to benefit businesses but also Google. For example, the task to click pictures of the restaurants nearby could help Google; map new businesses to suggest users searching for those. If you are not interested in a task or are unable to do it, you can choose to skip it.
