The coronavirus has that habit of not sparing anyone. Now, the chief minister (CM) of Gujarat has been home quarantined. CM Vijay Rupani will stay in isolation for the next 14 days. Gujarat government informed on Wednesday.
The decision was taken after the CM underwent a COVID-19 test on Wednesday. As per authorities, the test results were normal. The CM has been sent in quarantine as a precautionary measure. Notably came in contact with an MLA who later tested positive for COVID-19.
CM Rupani along with Deputy CM Nitin Patel met Congress MLA Imran Khedawala. Hours after this meeting Imran tested positive. The CM is fit and fine informed Ashwani Kumar, Secretary to the CM.

CM Rupani will now keep a tab on all government operations from home through video conferences.
