World Health Organization and several other researchers announced the arrival of the third wave of the Covid-19 in August in India. They also said that India might have between one to two lakhs infections daily during the third wave. The government has said that the upcoming 2-3 months will be crucial.
The World Health Organization has almost set the alarm bells ringing as it said that the Covid-19 third wave is already upon India. In addition to the WHO, the IIT researchers also seem to believe so. These researchers are the same who correctly predicted the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to these two IIT-Hyderabad researchers, the third wave of covid-19 is upon us and may reach its peak in October.
Yesterday, India records nearly 40,000 new cases. Among this, Kerala itself registers nearly 21,000 new infections per day, followed by Maharashtra 6,388, Andhra Pradesh (1,859), Tamil Nadu (1,964), Karnataka (1,857) and Delhi (49).
