Rohit along with Rahane provided resistance to the Indian innings en route to his hundred. This was Rohit’s 6th Test Ton and third in the series following 176 and 127 in the Vizag Test.

Rohit also reached the 2,000 runs mark during his innings. Rahane also brought up his fifty contributing his bit in the 100 plus stand for the 4th wicket.
