With just 3 days left in lockdown 4.0 and the number of cases rising steadily, Home Minister Amit Shah had a meeting with PM. The home minister had talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the way forward. This came after the home minister had a word with state Chief Ministers (CMs) to get inputs.
Home Ministry has been asked to analyze inputs from various sectors and states. Meanwhile, states like Himachal Pradesh and Maharashtra are all set for the lockdown 5.0. While Maharashtra has hinted Himachal Pradesh has already made the announcement of extension till 30th June.
States like Haryana have also sealed it borders with Delhi much like the sealing of UP-Delhi border as the cases are rising in the capital. While Karnataka has called for the opening of religious places states with congress CMs have asked for the end of lockdown. CM of Goa meanwhile has called for a 2 weeks extension.

Any decision about lockdown 5.0 which may come with some more relaxations or an exit plan is likely to come tomorrow.
