WhatsApp is one of the most widely used messaging applications in India. This platform’s regular upgrades and improvements are the primary reasons for its ongoing success. Support for multiple accounts, support for numerous devices, pinned messages, reacting from the lock screen, polls and quizzes, screen sharing, and many more features were among the major additions from the previous year.
The WhatsApp platform is supported by your number. Even if a handset enabled dual SIM, earlier versions of WhatsApp would not allow users to have numerous accounts. Still, that’s okay. In 2024, the program had an upgrade that allowed users to use two accounts on a single device.
How Is Configure Multiple Account Support Set Up?
With WhatsApp, users may now switch between accounts on the same device. It allows you to log into two Android WhatsApp accounts at the same time.
This function considerably reduces the difficulty of having to carry two phones at once or log out every time you need to move between personal and business talks. To use this functionality, you still need to have a second number.
Before you can input the six-digit verification code, you need to add another contact number to your account. To finish filling up your details, choose a photo, type in the name you like, and click ‘Next’.
Eventually, the identical app will be logged into your second account. You may switch between these accounts by selecting the Switch Accounts option, which is located beneath the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen.
Additionally, you may use the drop-down menu that shows up next to your profile tab to swap between different accounts.
