The Hurun India Wealth Report 2020, released on March 6, says that India is home to 4.12 lakh dollar millionaire households. In this list, Mumbai ranks on the top followed by New Delhi. Stock markets and real state is the key and preferred choice of their investments. As per the report, the 4.12 lakh millionaire households have at least Rs 7 crore net worth. However, the lists of the cities are –
Maharashtra
Considering the Hurun Report 2020, Maharashtra stays on the top with the highest number of millionaire households at 56,000.

Uttar Pradesh
Mumbai follows Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh has the 2nd largest number of millionaire households. The count for this state is 36, 000.
Tamil Nadu
Tamil Nadu holds third place in this list. It has more than 35, 000 millionaire households.
Karnataka
In these lists, Karnataka holds the fourth position. The total number of millionaire households is 33,000 who have at least an income of over $1 million.
Gujarat
Gujarat is a land with 29,000 dollar-millionaire households. It holds the fifth position in the lists of Indian state and city with the most dollar-millionaire households in India. Gujarat has 60 of the richest Indians.
West Bengal
As per the Hurun India Wealth Report 2020, West Bengal is ranked 6th on this list. It has 24, 000 dollar-millionaire households.
Rajasthan
Rajasthan is a home to 21, 000 dollar-millionaire households and ranked at the seventh position.
Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh ranks at the 8th position as it has 20, 000 dollar-millionaire households.
Madhya Pradesh & Telangana
Telangana and Madhya Pradesh come with 18,000 millionaire households individually.
States like Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat together account for 46 per cent of the 4.12 lakh millionaire households in India. Moreover, the Hurun India Wealth Report 2020 says that India retains 3rd place in the lists of billionaires in the country. India now has 177 billionaires living in the country.
