Taking a jibe at Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and his government at an assembly meeting, PML-N leader Ayaz Sadiq on Wednesday claimed that the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi was shivering, sweating and ‘begging to return Abhinandan back to India,’ back in 2019.
Sadiq in his speech says that the general was scared and claiming that if Pakistan didn’t return Abhinandan, ‘India was to attack Pakistan at 9 PM’.
“Ab Abhinandan ki kya baat karte hai? Mujhe yaad hai, Shah Mahmood Qureshi saab uss meeting mein the, jisme Prime Minister sahab ne aanese inkaar kar dia aur Chief of Army Staff tashreef laye. Pair kaanp rahe the, paseene maathe pe the. Shah Mahmood saab ne kaha, Foreign Minister ne, ke khuda ka vaasta, isko jaane de, kyunke nau baje raat ko Hindustan Pakistan pe attack kar raha hain,” Mr Sadiq recounted the events of the meeting.

The whole motive behind the revelation was the opposition leader trying to accuse the present government of ‘kneeling‘ to Indian pressure.
To recall, Wing Commander Varthaman’s fighter jet was downed during his valour attempt to chase away a Pakistani Fighter jet a day after the Indian Air Force launched an airstrike on the terror camp of Jaish-e-Mohammed. A Pakistani F-16 was also shot down during the whole process.
The wing commander then returned back to India via the Attari-Wagah border on March 1, 2019. He was conferred the glorious Vir Chakra by the President of India on Independence day for his exemplary bravery.
