India is registering nearly 2.5 lakh Covid-19 cases in a day. However, the fresh cases count for Covid-19 cases is down by 1 lakh and the active cases now stand at 30,27,925 in the country. The death still crossed 4000 in a day.
On Thursday, India reported 2,76,110 new cases and 3,874 deaths.

1. The top five states in India with the highest number of Covid cases are Tamil Nadu (35,579), Kerala (30,491), Maharashtra (29,911), Karnataka (28,869), and Andhra Pradesh (22,610).

2. A total of 56.81 percent of new cases were reported from these five states. Tamil Nadu itself covered 13.71 percent of the new cases.
