Please note if you are planning or scheduling a trip in October 2023. Due to interlocking with the inauguration of the third line at Bapatla station of the Vijayawada division in South Central Railway, Indian Railways has canceled at least 12 express trains.
A number of express trains have been canceled: the double-decker from Visakhapatnam to Tirupati; the Bhubaneswar-Tirupati special; the super-fast from Visakhapatnam to Chennai; the Sambalpur-Erode special; and the Visakhapatnam Bangalore cantonment special.
In addition, the Dhanbad-Alleppy Bokaro Express, which departs from Dhanbad on October 2 and October 10, will be rerouted to pass through Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada. There will be no stops at Tadepalligudem or Eluru.
List of Trains Cancelled Till Oct 1
Due to the South Central Railway’s Bapatla station’s inauguration of the third line, some express trains have also been canceled till October 1. These trains include the Bhubaneswar-Tirupati AC Super-Fast Special Express, the Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Double Decker, and the Visakhapatnam-MGR Chennai Central Super-Fast Express.
Additionally, the Visakhapatnam Bangalore Cantt and the Sambalpur-Erode Special Express. Additionally, the Indian Railways had canceled Special Express trains. According to the Railways, the Dhanbad-Alleppy Bokaro Express would be rerouted to pass via several stops.
Trains Are Changed Due To Operational Needs
According to the Indian Railways, several train services have been changed or canceled due to maintenance and operational needs in various railway divisions. The Tirupati-SSS Hubballi Daily Passenger Special and the SSS Hubballi-Tirupati Daily Passenger Special have been canceled, according to South Central Railway, for a certain amount of time.
Southern Railway continued by stating that the cancellation of sub-urban trains between Tambaram and Chennai Beach had resulted in congestion and subpar services.
In addition, North Western Railway diverted rail traffic and canceled four train services owing to severe rain in the Jaipur region. Additionally, flight operations have been impacted.
The Sambalpur-Varanasi Express will now be extended by the Railways across a number of Odisha districts to Visakhapatnam. This was done to improve train service in the state’s western and southern districts.
