The Indian Railways, in yet another feat, recently completed the trials of its new economy AC 3-tier coaches that are capable of running at a speed of 180 kmph.
The Ministry of Railways, tweeted a video of the final trial that was carried out on the Kota-Sawai Madhopur section. Other than that, media firms have been sharing a glimpse into the upgraded version of the new AC 3-tier coaches and they look so refreshing.

In the new coaches, the much-needed headroom space has been increased between the middle and upper berths. And there are multiple design improvements that have been added for the sheer comfort of the passengers.

Moreover, the upgraded coaches house modern facilities like reading lights, personalised AC vents, USB points and mobile charging points, modified ladder, snack table with aisle berth, disabled-friendly entry/exit and foot-operated taps to ensure better hygiene.
