Called the M&N Chocolate Museum, the place in the hill station city is India’s first Chocolate museum. The museum is dedicated to enlightening people about the health benefits of chocolate and how a chocolate bar is made and also different types of chocolates.

The museum was first opened in 2013 and now contains models describing how a bean is molded into chocolate. Moreover, you can also buy a DIY kit that steps by steps will guide you on how to make chocolates on your own.
Living up to its status of a chocolate museum, the museum also displays an array of tools that had been used throughout history to make chocolates. Herein you can explore the history of chocolate-making which dates back to 1500 BC when the Mayans used to make Cocoa drinks from Cocoa beans.

More Than Chocolates
The M&N museum also has over 100 handmade chocolate sculptures on display. Some of the sculptures are particularly molded for the children visiting the museum. The museum has been decorated with informative charts which don’t only make you drool but also give you a better understanding of chocolates.
Besides chocolates making, the museum also spares a decent knowledge about the trees harvested and pampered to make the chocolate.
