Certain areas of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh might experience a heatwave, according to the India Meteorological Department’s prediction. Aside from this, Gujarat is expected to see hot and muggy weather till May 13 and Kerala until May 11.

Up to May 11, the meteorological service said that there was a high likelihood of light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and blustery winds over West Bengal and Sikkim. According to the IMD’s forecast, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are expected to have rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds till May 12.

“Tamil Nadu is under a cyclonic circulation at lower tropospheric levels. In lower tropospheric levels, a trough or wind discontinuity stretches from northeast Rajasthan to South Interior Karnataka.” Thus, till May 12, there is a chance of light to moderate rainfall over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Telangana, and Karnataka, along with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds, according to the IMD’s most recent advisory.

Light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds are predicted throughout Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura until May 15, according to the IMD’s meteorological report. Maharashtra could face similar weather conditions on May 12, while Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha can anticipate rains, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds till May 12. Kerala on May 11 and the regions of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry until May 11 will get significant rainfall. Up to May 12, there will be rainy periods in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir.
