As the state of Karnataka is shutting down due to coronavirus scare the ‘silicon valley’ of Indian “Bengaluru” saw a scare. Global software major Infosys vacated its office building in a panic. As per reports one of the member of the company was suspected for coronavirus (COVID-19) on Friday.
The office building was vacated with immediate effect and the sanitization process was initiated. “To ensure preparedness, we are evacuating only the IIPM building as a precautionary measure on receiving information that a team member from the building may have been in proximity to COVID-19 suspect,” said Bengaluru development center head Gururaj Deshpande.

Around 30,000 techies work in the 81-acre green campus of the tech company. A spread of the deadly virus amongst them can create havoc thus precautionary measures were taken.
