There was a time when Instagram’s icon was polaroid, wheatish (kinda) and brown.
Ahh!! still love it. But then Instagram lost its wits to change the logo of the app and give it a multi-colour look. Well, Instagram’s designers must have thought that people eventually get used to the change after a specific period of time, but I have not.
So this recent update by Instagram, which allows you to change the logo of the app, means a lot to me.
On its 10 birthday, Instagram has come up with multiple features for us. The first feature allows a user the capability to change their Instagram logo if, just in case, you are bored with the usual pink and red one.

To change the icon, you need to head to Instagram settings, then pull the page down. Once done, you will have options to choose from multiple Instagram logos. Including the old polaroid camera one, & my heart goes – dekho wo a gaya.

In another feature, Instagram has unveiled the Stories Map feature. The feature introduces a private map and calendar of the Instagram Stories you have shared over the past three years.
The map feature shares a tad bit similarity with Snapchat with the only difference being that Snapchat’s map features allow you to share your current location while Instagram’s stories archive map show locations where you have shared Instagram stories from in the past.
