However, it used to take weeks to get our hands on PAN Cards which would delay our general processes a lot. To speed up the process, the Indian Government enrolled a new facility for Indian citizens which would let the users get an Instant PAN Card.
Expanded as Permanent Account Number, PAN is a unique identification of Indian citizens that stays the same for the rest of their lives. You can get an Instant PAN Card which would be in the form of an e-PAN Card, which would be a soft copy and here is how you can get it:
Online Procedure to Apply for Instant PAN Card
Follow the below-mentioned steps if you wish to get your Instant PAN Card within seconds:
- Go to the official website of e-Filing and find Instant E-PAN on the left side.
- Or, click on the given link to land on the right page.
- Click on the ‘Get New e-PAN’ button appearing on the page.
- Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar Card Number in the given field.
- Check the box in front of ‘I confirm that.’ and click on ‘Continue.’
- Check the box in front of ‘I have read and agree to the consent terms.’
- Finally, click on the ‘Continue’ button to receive an OTP on the mobile number registered with your Aadhaar Card.
- Enter the 6-digit OTP and check the box validating UIDAI and click ‘Continue.’
- Lastly, check the box in front of ‘I Accept that’ followed by clicking ‘Continue.’
